Rust is a unique survival game made by Facepunch Studios that acts as a mixture of the Fallout games and the Mad Max universe, giving a unique dystopian feeling to the whole game setting.
With the Lunar New Year in full swing, Rust celebrates the Year of the Dragon, where in Chinese culture, the Dragon represents courage, power, and majesty. To help everyone get into the spirit of celebration, the Rust developers have added new and old Lunar New Year items to the store, making this the perfect chance to log in to your RUST accounts and take full advantage of the festival.
Also, do not forget to paint your bases with trees and wear this year’s lucky colors, i.e., yellow and red.
What items have been added in Rust?
Some of the new items that have been added include Spears, Rocket Launchers, and other items that we will discuss below that will both improve your defenses and add variety to the decoration of your base.
The first of the items is the Spear, crafted with precision and adorned with intricate engravings; this magnificent Chinese spear is a skin replacement for the traditional wooden spear that acts not just as a battle tool but tells a story of power and sheer elegance.
A dragon-themed rocket launcher, unique with its own visuals and sound effects, will also be made available as a reskin of the traditional rocket launcher. In Chinese mythology, Dragons have the power to control weather elements but, most importantly, soar through the skies, just like your ejecting rockets.
In addition to the reskin of the spear and rocket launcher, the Rust team has also added items back from the previous Lunar New Year, such as the New Year Gong, the Dragon Door Knocker, and the Chinese Lantern, all of which are available on the Steam item store.
If these freebies are not enough for you, then it is best to buy RUST items for our store at U7BUY, where a wide array of items will be made available to you at a justified price that will give you a competitive edge in your matchups against players worldwide.
Bags to Riches update
In addition to the Lunar New Year festival being celebrated, the Bags to Riches update brings the much-requested backpacks to the game, with small and large backpacks being added, allowing players to carry more loot. The smaller backpack provides 12 slots and can be crafted for 50 cloth and five sewing kits at a T1 workbench, which is a default blueprint and takes 30 seconds to craft, whereas the military-grade large backpack carries 28 slots and is not craftable but can be acquired via the military loot.
To help differentiate regular player remains from the new backpack models, the Rust team has given the player a remains a visual refresh where the new model has an open and closed visual state, which can notify players if the bag has been opened by other players or not. You can check out their official website if you need more information regarding the update.
